When I was 15, an Italian boy named Filippo lived at my house in Melbourne on exchange for two months. I then lived with his family in Rome for two months. We became close friends but I had not seen him since. Tonight we unexpectedly found each other in New York after 10 years. Happiness.
I’m doing a one-night-only show called “Simon Taylor – The Best of Everything He’s Ever Done, Ever” on 31st of May at The Butterfly Club in the city.
It will feature stand-up, magic, poetry and music.
Only 30 tickets left, apparently. Do book ahead here: http://bit.ly/17WmCEB

Woodrow Wilson is an exceptional Melbourne photographer that has become one of my most admired friends. His wife is French, so that’s impressive too.
Yesterday he asked me if I wanted to be photographed with circus artist Mikael Bres. It was a pleasure and a privilege to partake in something I was, to be honest, hesitant about at first. I’ll let this image speak for itself as a testament to going outside of one’s comfort zone.
Due to the amount of people who had to turn away on the sold-out shows, we’ve decided to add another this Friday. Hope to see you there!
